Privacy Policy

How Pass.pk safeguards visitor privacy, utilizes anonymous aggregate metrics, and respects user consent.

1. Overview and Core Philosophy

Pass.pk is committed to user privacy. Our platform is an informational service that does not require user account registration, student logins, or passwords. We do not solicit, collect, or store private personal identifiers such as B-form numbers, CNIC, home addresses, or student phone numbers.

2. Information We Collect Automatically

When you browse Pass.pk, certain standard diagnostic and technical information is collected automatically by web server infrastructure and analytics tools:

  • Browser & Device Metrics: Operating system, browser family, viewport dimensions, and preferred language.
  • Navigation Flow: Pages viewed, referring URLs, session durations, and interaction with search filters or calculators.
  • Anonymized IP Logging: Internet Protocol addresses are processed for regional routing and security rate-limiting with strict IP anonymization enabled.

3. Google Analytics (GA4) & Cookies

This website utilizes Google Analytics, a web performance and telemetry service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies (text files stored on your device) to evaluate platform usage, monitor regional traffic distribution, and generate aggregate engagement reports.

Key safeguards implemented on Pass.pk:

  • IP Masking: Full IP addresses are truncated to safeguard user anonymity before storage by Google servers.
  • No Cross-Site Profiling: We do not engage in third-party advertising retargeting or user profile matching.
  • Opt-Out Mechanism: You may disable cookies in your browser settings or install the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Student and Minor Privacy Safeguards

Pass.pk recognizes the heightened sensitivity of student educational data. The platform only processes official public official records published by government boards in accordance with the Freedom of Information laws of Pakistan. We do not publish contact information, guardian names, or financial status.

5. Third-Party Links & External Boards

Our website contains direct jurisdictional links to external government web portals (e.g., fbise.edu.pk, biserawalpindi.edu.pk). Pass.pk holds no responsibility for the independent privacy policies, tracking behaviors, or cookie practices of external third-party domains.

6. Data Security and Infrastructure

We deploy Secure Sockets Layer / Transport Layer Security (HTTPS/TLS) encryption across all endpoints to ensure encrypted data transit between your device and our content delivery network.
